Tuesday 101221

SAUCE

Barbell lunges 4 x 3 each leg (6 single steps)

Bench press 6,3,6,3,10

4 rounds:
-30 seconds tire jumps over 2 large tires spaced a few feet apart
-30 seconds farmers walk 95 pounds dumbbells each hand
*5 seconds rest in between exercises to rotate

  1. Going old school strength. Heavy lunges are a great overall exercise that not a lot of people know about. Most people do lunges with dumbbells but you are limited to the weight you use by how strong your forearms/grip are. Also, it's much harder and better exercise with trying to stabilize with weight on your back than only a foot off the ground. You can really tell if you have one leg that is weaker than the other. Also, along with overall leg muscle building, it's a great hip/leg stabilizer builder. Farmers walk always hurts.
